How To Cure Delayed Ejaculation?

Published at : 04-11-2019 View : 7097

Delayed ejaculation is a condition in which it takes an extended period of sexual stimulation for men to reach sexual climax and release semen from the penis (ejaculate). Some men with delayed ejaculation are unable to ejaculate at all.

SYMPTOMS OF DELAYED EJACULATION

Some men with delayed ejaculation need 30 minutes or more of sexual stimulation to have an orgasm and ejaculate. Other men might not be able to ejaculate at all (anejaculation).

You may have symptoms of delayed ejaculation If you:

Experiencing a significant delay before ejaculation

Being unable to ejaculate at all, even though the man wants to and his erection is normal

You experience a repeated and unwanted delay before ejaculation lasting for 30 to 60 minutes

You're unable to ejaculate at least half the times you have sex

These can help in diagnosing an underlying cause and determining what might be the most effective treatment.

CAUSES OF DELAYED EJACULATION

Delayed ejaculation can have a psychological or biological cause. There can also be an overlap between the two. It can be a lifelong condition, where a man has always had difficulty reaching an orgasm, but more commonly, delayed ejaculation occurs after a period of normal function.

  Causes of delayed ejaculation include:

Medication side effects Delayed ejaculation may be an adverse effect of other medications.

Alcohol or the use of certain recreational drugs can have an impact.

Increasing age can decrease the sensitivity of the penis to sexual stimulation.

Early life history including abuse, difficulties bonding, neglect by parents, negative sexual upbringing

   Fear of pregnancy

Issues of lost confidence or performance anxiety, for example, anxiety about body image that interrupts the process of sexual stimulation

Nerve damage Including stroke, spinach cord injury and severe diabetes can lead to abnormal ejaculatory function.

TREATMENT FOR DELAYED EJACULATION

Treatment will depend on the underlying cause. If you’ve had lifelong problems or you’ve never ejaculated, our urologist can determine if you have a structural birth defect. Primary causes of delayed ejaculation may not be straightforward to treat. They often require the help of professional counselors such as psychologists, psychotherapists, psychosexual counselors, sex therapists, or couple's therapists. The same when the underlying cause is medication. However, don’t stop taking any medication without our doctor’s recommendation. Some medications may help improve the symptoms of delayed ejaculation, but none have yet been specifically approved to treat it. Go to the Heng Kang clinic for safe and better treatment. There are many different treatments that here in Heng Kang Clinic may recommend, none of which are very effective. Also, our clinic is the home of highly qualified medical professionals that assure you of quality health care services.
